Frequently Asked Questions

Are your number plates road legal?
Yes. Choose road-legal plates in the builder and we’ll make them to current UK requirements. We must approve your identity and entitlement documents before production.

What documents do I need?
You’ll need proof of identity, such as a driving licence or passport, and proof of entitlement, such as a V5C/logbook, V750, V778 or V948.

Do I need documents before checkout?
No. Place your order first and we’ll contact you after checkout to complete the required checks. Production starts only after approval.

How long does delivery take?
Most orders are produced within 1–2 working days after document approval. Free standard UK delivery usually takes 3–5 working days after dispatch.

What are 2D, 3D Gel, 4D Acrylic and 4D Gel plates?
2D plates use printed characters. 3D Gel has raised glossy gel characters. 4D Acrylic uses raised acrylic characters. 4D Gel combines acrylic characters with a glossy gel finish.

Are fitting pads included?
Yes. Sticky pads are included free with every pair. Other fitting options may be available in the builder.

Can I add a badge or border?
Yes. The builder shows the available badges and optional extras. A black border is free.

Can I use custom spacing?
Road-legal plates must use compliant spacing. Enter the registration as shown on your entitlement document. Show plates are available for display or off-road use only.

Can I cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible. Because plates are made to order, cancellation may not be possible once production has started.

What if my documents are unclear or do not match?
We’ll contact you for further information. This may delay production.

Do you deliver outside the UK?
We currently deliver within the UK only.

Do show plates require documents?
No. Show plates are for display, events, photos, private land or off-road use only and must not be used on public roads.
